Since July 4th, 2007 the new F-gas legislation has made it imperative to have your equipment regularly checked for leaks and adequately maintained by a qualified supplier. The legislation also demands that you clearly identify and label relevant equipment and keep comprehensive records of usage.
Climate Engineering Solutions: Helping you to keep up with current regulations
In line with the European Union FGas Regulation, from 4th July 2009 it became a legal requirement for all businesses that install, maintain or service stationary refrigeration, air-conditioning, heat-pump (RAC) equipment that contains “F gas” refrigerants to hold a Company Certificate issued by an appointed Company Certification Body. Climate Engineering has registered with REFCOM who have been formally named by Defra. In addition, the FGas Regulation which came into force on 4th July 2007 requires companies and other organisations with an air conditioning plant to ensure that the fluorinated greenhouse gases are contained within the systems.

All Climate Engineering engineers are trained to the required standard to meet the requirements of the legislation in order to help companies properly maintain their equipment and stay within the law.
